Urefu wa kazi

Unahitaji kufikia urefu gani wa kazi?

Suppliers usually calculate working height as platform height plus 2 metres. Based on experience, Womy prefers to allow 1.5 metres of practical reach above the platform. This calculator therefore always adds 0.5 metres and, depending on the task, a little more.

Working over something, such as a roof edge, balcony or pipework? Check horizontal outreach too. At maximum outreach an articulating or telescopic boom does not reach its maximum working height; each model’s working diagram shows what is possible.

Unahitaji jukwaa gani la kazi za juu?

The choice depends on working height, outreach, ground conditions, indoor or outdoor use and the load going up. A short guide per type.

Jukwaa la mkasi la umeme

Goes straight up with a spacious platform. Electric, quiet and emission free, ideal for indoor work in halls, warehouses and shops on level floors.

Jukwaa la mkasi la ardhi mbaya

A scissor lift with off-road tyres, often diesel powered with a large platform. Built for outdoor work on construction sites and unpaved ground, including several people and materials.

Jukwaa la mkono unaopinda

The boom has one or more joints so you can work up and over obstacles such as balconies, roofs or pipework. Electric for indoors or rough terrain for outdoors.

Jukwaa la mkono unaorefuka

A straight, extending boom with the greatest outreach. For work at great height and distance such as facades, steel structures, tanks and ports. Also available on tracks.

Jukwaa la buibui

Light and compact on tracks with folding outriggers. Fits through a doorway, climbs stairs, protects delicate floors and still reaches great heights. Includes trailer-mounted platforms.

Jukwaa la mlingoti wima

A narrow vertical mast for one person. Small, light and manoeuvrable for indoor installation and maintenance where scaffolding or ladders are impractical.

Jukwaa lililowekwa kwenye vani

An aerial platform on a van that can be driven on a standard car licence (category B). Quick from job to job, ideal for short assignments at several locations.

Jukwaa lililowekwa kwenye lori

For the greatest heights, supplied with an experienced operator. For high rise, industry and events where maximum height and outreach are needed.

Maswali ya kawaida kuhusu kukodisha majukwaa ya kazi

What is the difference between an articulating and a telescopic boom?

An articulating boom works up and over obstacles. A telescopic boom has a straight boom and offers the greatest outreach.

Which platforms can I use indoors?

Electric scissor, articulating, mast and spider lifts are quiet and emission free. Check floor loading, access and the working height you need.

Can I drive a platform on a car licence?

Van-mounted platforms are built for a category B licence. Truck-mounted platforms are hired with an operator.

Does my team need training?

Working at height requires instruction and experience. Aerial platform training, for example to IPAF standards, helps your team work safely. See our training.

How much does aerial platform hire cost?

The price depends on type, rental period, transport and accessories. Request a quote for your job.
